In conjunction with the upcoming premiere of “The Dovekeepers” on CBS on March 31, Watch! Magazine released a special collector’s edition of the publication, entitled “Women of the Bible.” The 100-page devotional guide features a modern take on biblical women, and each historical devotion — mothers, wives, sisters, lovers and friends — illuminates the lives of influential women in the Bible who are often overshadowed. Engaging profiles also feature many familiar women of the Bible — Eve, Ruth, Mary Magdalene and more – and how their stories impact our lives. The entire back of the magazine takes an inside look at “The Dovekeepers,” including interviews with author Alice Hoffman, Producer Roma Downey and star Cote de Pablo.
We’re pleased to be able to share the interview with Cote that appears in the magazine, below, but it’s definitely a special magazine with many great articles that should be checked out. Check out more information on the CBS Watch! Magazine website and see how to get it!

Cote de Pablo took part in an interview and photoshoot for CBS Watch! Magazine in Malta. Read the interview below and check out the photos in the gallery!
For eight seasons of NCIS, the world’s most popular drama, fan favorite Cote de Pablo played Israeli agent Ziva David. In The Dovekeepers, her first TV role since leaving the show two years ago, the actress finds herself playing another character from the Holy Land—but she’s also going back in time, portraying one of three extraordinary women whose lives intersect at the siege of Masada in 70 A.D.
Roma Downey reveals what inspired her to bring Alice Hoffmans bestselling historical novel to film and Cote de Pablo, Rachel Brosnahan, Kathryn Prescott, Diego Boneta and Sam Neill share various behind-the-scenes experiences and what drew them to The Dovekeepers.
The official page for The Dovekeepers at CBS.com is up! You can check out the articles, videos and photos that have come out so far, as well as some articles that include information on both Cote and her character in The Dovekeepers, Shirah.
